Assessor Types: Restricted and Unrestricted

CMS Online enables three types of Assessors:  

• Assigned: can conduct assigned employee assessments only
• Restricted: assigned by an administrator to a specific user population (Ex. department or location. Can select any user and competency role from the assigned population to assess​
• Unrestricted:  can select any assessment in the system to conduct assessments

Your type of assignment is based upon your company's settings. 

The Assessor landing page contains the same data field for each type of assessor.  Unrestricted Assessors have the addition of a Select Assessment button at the top right corner.
