When using the 3-part assessment process of Employee, Supervisor and Assessor Assessment, the interim assessment result (IAR) is calculated after the Employee (EA) and Supervisor (SA) Assessments are submitted.
IAR is calculated separately for each competency unit in a competency role and is always the lower of the 2 scores (EA and SA).
The final assessment result (FAR) is calculated when the Assessor Assessment is submitted. If an Assessor chooses not to assess a CU, the IAR will become the FAR. Similarly, if auto-assess is used, the IAR will become the FAR.
Note: when the assessment configuration used is Employee and Supervisor Assessment only, the Supervisor Assessment result will be the FAR.
