After an assessment is completed, your final assessment result is calculated for each competency unit you assessed against. The calculation is based upon % of statements ticked in each level.
If you do not meet the Minimum Level Requirements for a proficiency level, you will not get credit for statements at the next level. You are encouraged to review proficiency statements and check all that you know or can do. However, it is important to be aware of how the assessment will be calculated.
If you check higher-level statements without having checked the required percentage of lower-level statements, your assessment score will not reflect the higher level.
In the example below, the assessment has less than the required 80% minimum competency at Level 1 (3 out of 6 = 50%). The employee will not get credit for statements checked in Level 2 and Level 3.
When clicking “Next CU >”:
- The Employee will receive an alert message
- If unchanged, the recorded score will be .5 for Level 1
- The Employee will not get credit for Levels 2 and 3 until he/she is competent at Level 1.
However, all checkmarks will be saved for that assessment. Upon reassessment, the user will see everything that was checked in the original assessment.
