Each employee is tasked with building a Competency Development Plan for prioritized competency gaps. Once the supervisor approves the plan, the employee and supervisor or mentor work together as the employee completes training, knowledge transfer, and practice activities. After training is completed and the employee has time to practice, he or she initiates a reassessment, which is then completed by the employee, supervisor and by an assessor. The following details steps a Supervisor takes to complete a reassessment.
Begin on your dashboard. Click My Employees’ Development on the left navigation menu.
My Employees' Development lists all employees who report to you, all CUs for which they have built plans, and the status of each plan. The status “Ready to Reassess” indicates that the employee has a CU that is ready for reassessment
Click the View icon next to the CU you will reassess.
You have the opportunity to review all learning the employee has completed, with completion dates, and any comments and/or evidence (certificates, etc.) he or she has uploaded. When you are ready to reassess, click the Reassess button.
The CUs included in the current competency role will display. Those ready for reassessment will show a green bar. Click a CU title to begin the reassessment.
The black checks are the original (historical) ticks, which indicate statement(s) the employee checked in the original assessment. When the employee reassesses, the checks are green to indicate that they are reassessment ticks.
Proceed through the assessment by checking the boxes next to each statement the employee knows or can do. Click DONE when you are finished.
Click Submit to finalize your reassessment.
